Enemies:

Slasher: The most basic form of necromorph and the most abundant. It has to large scythe like blades on its hands that it uses to attack the player. They are seen all throughout the game and often attack in hordes.

Puker: A necromorph that uses its stomach acid as projectiles that not only slow the player, but also causes heavy damage on impact and slight damage over time. If caught and thrown with kinesis, their acid projectile can be used to kill other necromorphs.

Tripod: The tripod is made up of multiple corpses and acts as a sort of boss/mini boss during the game. It uses large stomping legs and a lashing tongue like appendage to attack the player

Infector: A bat like necromorph that can fly over short distances and infect corpses to turn into slashers. If there are no corpses left, it will attack the player with its infector barb. Shooting off its barb will prevent it from infecting corpses.

Leaper: A necromorph that has no legs, instead using its spine like a lashing tail to attack. It is very quick on the ground, and in Zero-G it can leap across the room to attack the player.

Spitter: It looks just like a slasher, however it can also spit globs of acid similar to the puker.

Exploder: A slow moving necromorph with a large glowing bulb on its left arm that will explode if shot, or the player runs into them. The bulb will damage other necromorphs when detonating.

The pack: Children that have been turned into necromorphs, the pack travel in large groups and although they down with a single strike, they can overwhelm the player and quickly kill them.

Crawlers: Reanimated babies with glowing explosive bulbs growing out of their backs. Much like the exploder, they will blow up if in close proximity of the player, and their detonation will also damage other necromorphs.

Liurker: Reanimated Infants that can crawl along walls and ceilings to attack the player by means of three tentacles that sprout from its back and shoot barbs. They often attack in groups of 2 to 4.

Stalker: These necromorphs hunt in packs and sound very much like velociraptors. They hide in rooms full of pillars, containers, or other objects that they can hide behind, before rushing the player to headbutt them and leave them prone on the ground.

Pregnant: These necromorphs are much larger than slashers, with giant bulbous stomachs that if hit, will tear open and release a horde of Swarmers. Its stomach tearing open does not kill the Pregnant, so it can still attack the player.

Swarmer: Small pieces of reanimated flesh, often times thought to be hands, will spawn from the stomachs of pregnants and can be found roaming the halls of Titan Station.

Cyst: They grow from the corruption of the marker and organic matter sprawling Titan Station. If the player approaches too close, it will eject an explosive pod that deals massive damage to the player. If the player is quick enough, it can grab the pod before it explodes and use it like a grenade.

Divider: A tall lanky Necromorph that makes loud moaning sounds that resemble a whale. When dealt enough damage, it would fall apart into multiple pieces that will all attack the player. They are not often seen in their complete form, but rather their pieces will be seen all around the station.

Brute: Another type of mini-boss seen throughout the game. It is a heavily armored necromorph made up of many corpses. It will charge the player and throw them prone and deal a lot of damage.

Guardian: A neccromorph of a person that has been fused to the wall and acts as a blockade for the player. It will shoot out Pods to attack the player if they are too far. It lashes out with tentacles that will instantly kill the player should they get too close.

Pods: Small fleshy pods that are shot out by Guardians when the player is too far away. Should they hit the player before landing on the ground, it will explode. Otherwise, it will sprout a tentacle that attacks the player.

Nest: A giant necromorph that hides within a giant sack of skin similar to a sea anemone. It exits its sack when it detects the player and will send small flying projectiles at the player until it is destroyed. It has three apendages with glowing bulbs, that if destroyed, kill the nest.

The Tormentor: I giant tripod like necromorph that is roughly three times the size of a brute. It is only encountered once and could be considered one of the bosses of Dead Space 2. It chases the player and they must escape from it and into space.

Ubermorph: A tall slasher-like necromorph that is impossible to kill. It can regenerate any limb that has been cut off after a delay. It stalks the player and will not stop until the player can make it to the marker.
